I always love a small, intimate wedding and that is exactly what Holly and Christian had in northern Michigan. Being the golf lover that Christian is it only made sense that this pair had their wedding at one of the most beautiful courses in the state: Arcadia Bluffs. If you aren’t familiar with Arcadia Bluff it is a beautiful course with rolling bluffs and a stunning view of Lake Michigan. It couldn’t have been better! The weather had a little chill in the air, however, the overcast ( my favorite ) made for the beautiful photos! To top it off it was their nephew Charlie’s first birthday!
A little back story on how I know Holly and Christian: Holly is my sister-in-law’s sister, so she’s basically family! When Holly told me she wanted me to photograph her wedding I couldn’t say yes fast enough. Kyle was able to tag along with me and it was such an honor being apart of their 30 other guests. Because Holly is family, we have watched their love story grow from afar. Always hearing stories and occasionally having date nights and family events together made watching these two love birds getting married a little extra special.
