It seems like it was yesterday that I was taking Katie and Matt’s engagement photos on Belle Isle and now they are PARENTS! One of my favorite parts of my job is not only watching love grow but watching families grow. Many times I get the pleasure of capturing several aspects of life and documenting people’s life journey.
I cannot say enough nice things about how amazing both Katie and Matt are. They are incredibly kind and warmly welcomed me into their home. I’m so happy we were able to capture these special moments just before their baby arrived into the world. Katie is the definition of pregnant goals – I seriously hope I look half as good as she does when I’m expecting! To top it off the excitement these expecting parents were oozing made it that much more special. It’s so clear how much they love each other and already love their sweet baby – you two are going to be the BEST Mom and Dad!
At the time of their session Katie and Matt were waiting until birth to find out the gender of their little one and it was so fun to watch along on IG to find out they had a baby girl! I give serious props to the parents who can wait until delivery – that requires so much patience but I have heard repeatedly how worth it it is.
I love that social media keeps me in the loop with my couples and I’m able to see how precious their little girl is. I hope you two are loving being a family of 4 – pup included 😉 and I cannot wait to continue to follow along!
